Water Testing in Greater Male’ Area

3 March 2025

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is preparing to conduct long-term water testing to assess the condition of seawater in the Greater Male’ area. In this regard, the Ocean Country Partnership Program (OCPP) has conducted a training program for EPA staff. The OCPP is a program run by the UK Government to provide development assistance to foreign countries.

The GLOBE Initiative’s Learning Expedition to the Sea Event – October 2023

11 October 2023

The GLOBE Initiative’s Learning Expedition to the Sea Event was conducted in partnership with EPA and GLOBE initiative’s Asia Pasific Office in Maldives this October. The event was held from 1st of October to 3rd of October 2023 in Male’, Hulhumale and Villingili island. 30 participants from 6 Asia Pacific Countries joined the event. The participants included students, teachers and Country Coordinators from Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Mongolia, Vietnam and India.
